Week 36: We did it!
We did it, TeamTINK! North Sydney has an Independent representative in Canberra again, and it's all thanks to you.
This has truly been a community-driven campaign. We had over 1,000 volunteers who knocked on doors, did phone banking, spoke to their friends, families and neighbours, and reached out to strangers.
In total, TeamTINK volunteers worked 2,008 shifts across 6 early voting booths throughout the 11-day prepolling period, and across 42 booths on Election Day.
You have all done the most extraordinary things to get our campaign across the line. From the bottom of my heart: thank you.
I am so proud to be your Independent Member for North Sydney. But remember, there were two parts to this deal: I agreed to run, as long as you — my community — came with me.
We're in this together North Sydney. Now let's see what we can do about changing the climate in Canberra.

Earlier this year, in the months before the election, I promised to develop and introduce a Private Member's Bill that would deliver better, cleaner fuel to Australians and reduce pollution from our cars. That Bill was tabled in Parliament this week.
North Sydney's Reducing Vehicle Pollution Bill will bring Australian fuel quality in line with European standards, reducing the levels of sulphur and aromatics that they can contain.
