Nauru detainee speaks out as new boat arrivals near 100

Kylea has responded to Lane Cove Council's call to fund a study into 5G technology, stating "...it is important that all Australians know their safety is always paramount in the minds of anyone involved in the federal government..." and that "If the Lane Cove Council believes the research is necessary, it is their prerogative to initiate and fund it using their own financial resources and I look forward to them sharing the results of the work they undertake.”

She goes on to say that "The AEC's released this plan as a draft...they've asked for the feedback and I think that gives the people of North Sydney every right to go back and say 'well I think you've got it wrong'."

North Sydney Council has written to the NSW Government rejecting a plan to increase the number of medium density homes around transport hubs. The council has rejected all 14 proposed planning triggers including around town centres in Cammeray, Cremorne, Crows Nest, Milsons Point and Neutral Bay.
