27 JUNE: NORTH SYDNEY, LET'S START A YARN (NEW DATE)
122 years ago, as a nation, Australia stepped up to exert our independence from our colonial history by adopting a Constitution that helped define how our country: how it would operate and what it stood for. In 2023 then, with the Voice Referendum happening later this year, our country is again stepping into a nation-shaping conversation, as we stop to discuss and decide who we want to be into the future.
The Voice Referendum will allow every Australian to have their say on whether they believe our Constitution should be amended to recognize First Nations people as the first inhabitants of this land, and to provide them with a constitutionally enshrined “Voice to Parliament”.
To support fair, balanced and well-informed conversations in North Sydney, we invite you to please join Kylea Tink, Bridget Cama, Andrew Gee MP, and Federal Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus KC MP for a panel discussion and Q+A.
- Tuesday 27th June at Norths Leagues Club Cammeray
- Doors open at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start.
