Volunteers Grant 2024-25

Volunteer Grants support the work of local community organisations by reducing barriers for volunteers and increasing participation in volunteering.

Grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 will be available to assist eligible not-for-profit community organisations that rely on volunteers. Grants can be used to purchase communication or insurance items and/or purchase items or services to assist volunteers or volunteer-run activities that support the well-being and development of children (under 18).

You can read the full grant guidelines here, and complete an EOI here.

EOI’s will close on 10 January 2025, after which our office will convene an independent community committee to review applications and shortlist those that will be nominated to the Department.

The Department will undertake it’s own review process, with successful EOI’s being invited to apply for the grant in February 2025.

If you have any questions about eligibility or other, you can contact our office or the Community Grants Hub team at [email protected] or by phone: 1800 020 283.
