North Sydney
Resources for former constituents
The federal electorate of North Sydney was one of the original divisions contested at the first federal election in 1901. It was abolished by the Australian Electoral Commission in 2025.
Former North Sydney constituents have been reallocated to either Warringah, Bradfield or Bennelong and will be required to vote in those electorates in the 2025 Federal Election.
If you have been affected by the electoral redistribution, you may find the following resources helpful:
- Find out which electorate you have been reallocated to.
- Check that you are enrolled to vote or apply for a postal vote.
- Investigate parliamentarians’ voting records at theyvoteforyou.org.au
- Learn to identify and report election disinformation with resources from the AEC.
- Get involved in the Community Independents Project to continue seeing politics done differently.
