Have your say on Childcare

Our community is seeking practical and effective policy solutions to improve the affordability and accessibility of childcare in Australia.

We have an affordability and accessibility problem with Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) in Australia. Fees are expensive and rising faster than inflation. The sector is dealing with long waitlists and a shortage of workers.

But you can help change that.

Kylea Tink MP, Independent Federal Member for North Sydney, is convening a community forum of randomly selected residents to help identify practical ways to improve the affordability and accessibility of ECEC. This forum will rely on both expert advisors and public submissions for an informed debate about potential policy solutions.

That's why we need you to have your say by submitting feedback and ideas for the forum to consider.

We'd love to hear from you: to improve ECEC affordability and accessibility, what’s the one big policy idea that you think we should push Canberra to consider?
